On 20 June 2023 in Montreal, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Montreal, Eugene Czolij, attended a reception marking the end of the mandate of the Consul General of the United States in Montreal, Ana Escrogima, and Juneteenth, commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
