The Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Montreal Eugene Czolij attended a civic reception on the occasion of the National Holiday of Quebec on 24 June 2023 in Laval. During this event, the Honorary Consul met the Mayor of Laval Stéphane Boyer and wished him and all the residents of Laval all the best on the occasion of this national holiday. He also thanked the Mayor of Laval for the assistance to Ukrainians temporarily displaced in Laval.
Eugene Czolij also met with the Minister delegated to the Economy, Minister responsible for the fight against racism and Minister responsible for the Laval region of the Government of Quebec, Christopher Skeete, and thanked him for the assistance to Ukraine by Quebecers.
