The Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Montreal, Eugene Czolij, participated in the Ministerial Conference on the Human Dimension of Ukraine's 10-Point Peace Formula on 30 and 31 October 2024 in Montreal as part of Ukraine’s delegation.
The goal of this conference was to develop a concrete plan, based on international principles of human rights, for the repatriation to Ukraine of Ukrainian prisoners of war, civilians and children illegally deported to Russia.
Foreign ministers and high-level representatives from more than 70 countries and international organizations participated in this conference and issued the following Joint Communiqué:
