On 23 June 2023 in Montreal, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Montreal, Eugene Czolij, and the President of the Quebec Provincial Council of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Michael Shwec, attended a meeting of the First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Mykola Povoroznyk, with the Mayor of Montreal, Valérie Plante, to discuss the Kyiv Investment Forum on 16 November 2023 in Brussels and support for the reconstruction and sustainable development of Kyiv.
