The Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Montreal, Eugene Czolij, attended a reception on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 23 October 1956 at the invitation of the Consul General of Hungary, Helga Katalin Pritz, on 17 October 2024 in Montreal.

During this event, he greeted the Consul General and called for Hungary to help Ukraine stop Russia from recreating a neo-Soviet Union.
