The Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Montreal, Eugene Czolij, attended a reception in honour of the Montreal Consular Corps at the invitation of the Mayor of Montreal, Valérie Plante, on February 26, 2025 in Montreal. During this event, he thanked the Mayor of Montreal for the assistance to Ukrainians displaced in Montreal and the gesture of solidarity towards the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian community in Montreal by raising the flag of Ukraine on the balcony of Montreal’s city hall on February 24, 2025.
